The Quality Assurance Analyst facilitates productions operation in achieving quality and safe products through Quality Assurance and Quality Control. QA Analyst also provides leadership and technical support to the manufacturing facility in the areas of quality and food safety.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform RM/PM Receiving Inspection and physico-chem analysis in selected materials delivered.
Ensure that all In-process and Finished Products are of high quality and match specifications by conduct of physico-chemical and organoleptic analysis
Performs Environmental Micro Analysis thru equipment swabbing in the absence of the Microbiologist.
Monitors compliance to Cleaning and Sanitation Procedures in all food production areas and equipment thru:
Conduct of Physico-chemical analysis on cleaning and sanitation chemicals used.
Issuance and keeper of Product Formulation and Manufacturing Manuals
Preparation and standardization of chemical reagents used in Physico-chemical Analysis of the product.
Conducts Daily audits of Production, Warehouse and Common area facilities, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance in cGMP, PRP Standards, and Quality and Food Safety Procedures set by the company and by regulatory bodies.
Ensure compliance to HACCP requirements (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) and GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) - ISO 17025 standards, and maintains records related to it.
Ensure that the Calibration/verification procedures and schedules are documented and strictly being followed and that that all the test equipments being utilized for production are calibrated and verified to be in good working conditions
Schedule and execute sample submittals to Principal’s Laboratory for batch testing
Maintenance of all Measuring equipment used for Physico-chem Analysis to ensure accuracy and reliability of testing

Develop, recommend, implement and monitor corrective and preventive actions when standards concerning quality are not met by recommending and Implementing Material adjustments to meet the Product’s minimum requirement
Initiates problem solving together with Production and QA Supervisors to address issues related to Food Quality and Safety
Reports problems and action taken to the Immediate Supervisor and Management.
Review all the Reports generated by the QC In-line and QC Batching
Requisition of reagents and other materials for laboratory use.
Blank forms, reagents, glass wares, and other Laboratory Materials Inventory and Requisition.
Participate in the Conduct Mock Recall and Traceability Activities / Conduct Proficiency Testing
Filing and maintain organized records, logs of tests, Trend data and other quality procedures to ensure availability of accurate and thorough information.
Assist in training employees in food safety, company processes and cGMP, PRPs, Food Safety and HACCP.
Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by the client and Third Party external providers.
Oversees activities of QC to ensure compliance with the required standards.
Implements Quality Hold Programs.
Perform other duties that may be assigned by the immediate superior.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND/WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Must be a LICENSED CHEMIST
Graduate in BS Chemistry, Food Technology, Microbiology, BS Chemical Engineering Course or other science related courses.
